It is also incorporated with Vibration Reduction technology that provides up to 5.0 stops of stabilisation. This camera lens is constructed with 26 elements in 20 groups and is coated with Nikon’s special coatings for clarity. It is designed with a rounded diaphragm opening consisting of nine blades. It has also an automatic aperture with electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism and utilises Silky Swift VCM technology for autofocusing drive motor. This lens has an internal focusing system and allows manual focusing. It has also a focus-mode switch and focus limit switch. This camera lens measures about 165 × 437mm and weighs approximately 3260 grams. It has a magnesium-alloy barrel with rubber gasket to resist dust and drips.
